Disney Alaska Cruise: Ships, Routes and Ports from Vancouver
Updated November 4, 2026

Ships and departure port
Disney Cruise Line's Alaska page names Vancouver (British Columbia), Canada as the departure port and describes its route as the state's southeastern coastline, also called the Alaskan Panhandle or Inside Passage.
In its summer 2026 announcement, Disney Cruise Line said that with "the introduction of a second ship to Alaska," both Disney Magic and Disney Wonder would sail from Vancouver beginning in May 2026. Disney Wonder had sailed Disney's Alaska season on its own before that.

Disney's 2026 announcement said "itineraries will vary" and that most sailings would visit Dawes Glacier; the Alaska page now lists Stikine Icecap glacier viewing. The glacier you see can differ by sailing and conditions, so check your own itinerary.
The ports
- Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan: the three classic Inside Passage ports Disney highlights on its Alaska page.
- Icy Strait Point: near Hoonah; listed on the Disney Magic 7-night itinerary.
- Ward Cove (Ketchikan): a cruise dock in the Ketchikan area, listed on Disney Magic itineraries.
For what to do in each stop, see our Alaska cruise ports guide. Disney's listed itineraries don't include Glacier Bay National Park; if seeing Glacier Bay matters to you, read how Glacier Bay cruises work.
